THE 2004 NATIONAL UFO CONFERENCE

The two day event was held at the Campbelltown Catholic Club on 5th and 6th June 2004. There was a large turn up from all states around Australia, eager to hear from national and international (US) representatives.

Debbie Payne - South Australian representative for AUFORN and former contributor to the Australian Disclosure Project.
Her topic was based on The Australian Disclosure Project and what they had recovered from the National Australian Archives.

Rex Gilroy - the Blue Mountains UFO Group.
Combined with myths and legends, Mr Gilroy focused on the 'Alien Dreamtime' concept.

Bill Chalker - UFO Investigation Centre (UFOIC) and Anomaly Physical Evidence Group (APEG).
Bill presented some of his studies that offered many forms of trace evidence.

Sheryl Gottschall - UFO Research Queensland.
Mrs Gottschall's presentation examined some of the consequences of open contact with alleged ET societies.

Bud Hopkins - Intruders Foundation (US)
'New Abduction Cases Involving Medical Evidences' and 'Subtle Symptoms of Abductions'.
Most of the cases and slides that Mr Hopkins presented came from his newly released book 'Sight Unseen'.

Leslie Kean - director of the Coalition of Freedom of Information (US).
Ms Kean, an investigative journalist, displayed how the media ridicules and influences the general public about the UFO phenomenon. Additionally, Ms Kean detailed how the coalition was taking action against NASA in order to surface information about the Kecksburg incident

Diane Harrison - director of the Australian UFO Research network (AUFORN).
Ms Harrison, editor of the Australasian Ufologist Magazine, featured some of the most outstanding UFO cases documented through the organization.

George Simpson - AUFORN representative from Victoria.
Mr Simpson explained about how digital imagery can be easily manipulated and how film photography of the genuine article can stand up against close scrutiny.

Mary Rodwell - director of the Australian Close Encounters Resource Network (ACERN)
Her work 'Contact and the Evidence for Star Children' had triggered national and international enquiries. This has given Ms Rodwell an opportunity to expose her findings on a large scale.
